My Decision to Follow Jesus
Peter made one of the greatest decisions of his life when he decided to leave everything and follow Jesus. My transformation to the Lord is not a dramatic as Peters but it did change my life, DRAMATICALLY. It happened in San Diego, in 1987 at at Billy Graham crusade. As with Peter, I too was seaching for something. I did not know what, but Jesus did. He brought the Grahams into my life at a time that I did not know what to do. I had contemplated suicide and was at my wit

HIKING TRAIL
God tells us to seek out the "ancient paths" and walk in it. Why should we want to to do that... and what would it look like if we managed to do it? But before the Philadelphia was abandoned, Congress ordered

Walking the Path with Jesus
David wrote that God's word is the lamp for our feet and the light for our path. What does this mean and how do we put that to use in our lives? Consider these thoughts from our Family Minister, Scott Jewell. The alphabet has always been foundational to learning. If you’ve ever watched The Sound of Music, you probably remember the scene where Maria is teaching the children to sing. She tells them, “Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start. When you read,

SMORE OF JESUS
What would it mean to have more (Smore) of Jesus and less of me? And how would I know if I lived my life that way? A man told of having some friends over for a barbeque in his back yard, and they’d just passed out marshmallows and long roasting forks ready to make S’mores. At that point, 2 fire trucks raced by and stopped at a house just down the street. He and his friends and ran down the street and found the owners of the house, standing helplessly as their home was engulfe
